At long last I released version 4.5 today. I’ll most likley be doing some bug fix releases but the 4.x version is now feature-complete. I’ll be starting work on version 5 soon. Send your feature requests to support@rpgpatsy.com. I have some pretty cool ideas for the next version but I’m always [...]

RPG Patsy 4.5 is just about feature-complete and is already in the hands of testers. The focus of this version is on customizability. It supports custom data in the following categories:

2) available in the [...]

-Classes
-Races
-Cleric Domains
-Feats
-Skills
-Spells
-Psi Powers
-Equipment (including weapons and [...]

Q: What rules version is this for?
A: 3.5 Edition
Q: Why aren’t you updating the 3.0 and Star Wars versions?
A: Just updating this one version took all of my spare time for months. [...]
The future of RPG Patsy
Posted by Longspleen on in RPG Patsy Development.
By far, the most common request I get is for customizability. The problem is that software becomes harder to use at the same rate that it becomes more customizable. To make software really easy to use, you have to impose some restrictions to keep users from getting lost or getting themselves into trouble. [...]

Hi. I’m Ben Hanks. You may know me as the developer of such software character managers as “RPG Patsy”, “RPG Patsy SW”, and “VICAR”. This is my blog. I decided to start blogging for a few reasons:
1) I can talk all I want without interruption
2) Some people may care about the [...]
